secret page #7

Wow! Once Upon a Time... There was an amazing band... the perfect blend of Beatles Pop and Punk Energy (with out EVER PRETENDING TO BE PUNKS) ... smart, sexy, funny and really great musicians... the world missed out on this because the industry was just so nearsighted... but that was the world in 1991... (sigh).

  (the tease page for...)

The Rails - just before punk styles "broke"...

The rails were an angry, crazy, raucous little Punk-Pop Trio out of Los Angeles that made a lot of noise and got a lot of attention in their 3 years on the scene.

About the Rails:

Jensen's 2nd band and most successful in the major music business, the Rails might have been just a bit ahead of the curve.  Mixing punk and pop was considered bad business by the executives of the day... a few months after the band imploded, "smells like teen spirit" made it's way up the charts.

oops!

So instead of the Rails you got Smashing Pumpkins as the warm up act. How nice for you.
