Jensen Bell Makes TOP TEN!
Jensen Bell's Modern Dating Tips just made the top ten sales list for last month at NOTLAME.com This is a site dedicated to fans of melodic, jingle-jangle-guitar-driven, post-Beatle, pop/rock music. They know what they want and they overwhelmingly decided on Jensen Bell... "Modern Dating Tips" gave the site's own releases some fierce competition.
Now Playing!

This album is without a doubt one of the highlights
for me for the first half of 2005. I don’t know a lot about this LA resident
other than the fact that he was possibly a guitarist in The Replacements but
never mind, just listen to this album! While the cover art is quite humorous it
was only after listening to the first track “Askin You Out” that I was sucked in
to this man’s talent. Brilliant writing, amazing melodies and hits a-plenty (Her
City’s Got a Train, Kitsch Lorraine, Happy Chocolate), the 35 minutes spent
listening to this album is essential for all true fans of pop. A must! By Gérard
Girard
See for yourself!
Selling Out??
Kool Kat musik (www.Koolkatmusik.com) sold out of "Modern Dating Tips" in a blinding 3 weeks. More were sent and he is back in stock... but wow. Jensen Bell and the Team are so thrilled. WE SEND OUR DEEPEST THANKS!
Smiling!! :D
We just Got the Greatest Review of the Year... and
it's only June! The very exclusive "Comes With A Smile"

Jensen Bell and crew tried to accomplish with "Modern Dating Tips" - This
review is as well written as anything we at JensenBell.com have EVER READ.

take a look:
Pop Radio in FRANCE?
There is a pop radio station in St. Etienne, France 98.5FM (as well as this streaming website: http://radiodio.club.fr/index.htm) who have a show called "POPDREAMS" where, as they put it:
In June 1991, Gérard and Philippe, two close friends (an insurance agent and an English teacher) decided to create a radio show devoted to POP. They chose DIO the last independent regional radio created in 1981. Since then, every friday night at 8 p.m (local hour)...
Well... they've done alright for themselves for 14 years and have a pretty loyal audience. Sweet. They have requested Jensen Bell's "Modern Dating Tips" for their playlist! French Pop Fans will know more than Most American ones. Fantastique!

New Retailers Stocking
~~"Modern Dating Tips!"~~
Kool - Kat!!
KoolKatMusik.com online pop music retailer requests and buys a shipment of CDs! Jensen Bell is one of less that 100 artists to earn this honor!
Deep In the heart of New Jersey... A visionary named RAY is quietly competing with major labels, major distribution networks, major publishers and big time record stores. And he is doing it exceedingly well. Ray has a big time business going out where American Film began and New Yorkers move for some peace... but his reach is global. He has a special place in his heart for the post Beatles' styles of music including power-pop, Alt. country, Folk-rock, and Classic Rock. He has a special distribution list for his favorites... and of less that 100 lucky artists, JENSEN BELL has been accepted by Kool Kat Musik for this honor. Not only that, but unlike most online businesses who stock a CD on consignment... Ray puts his money where his mouth is and BOUGHT the Disks outright! This is someone Jensen hopes his friends and appreciators will support and prove that his faith is justified. here is the link:

This is STORE NUMBER 4!!
TOWERING!
Tower Records' Online Store has started to carry independent titles like "Modern Dating Tips" ... they're smart! They want to get in on the future of music too! They love Jensen Bell so much that they made him his own page!
http://www.towerrecords.com/product.aspx?pfid=3201503#tracks
Nice Huh?
That is a bit more expensive than your other choices for disks, but you have the security and familiarity of the Tower name.. some people prefer that.
This makes 3 stores now!
NOT LAME!
Bruce Brodeen and His "Not Lame Records" of Fort Collins Colorado, are a haven for the best pop music you have ever wanted to find but just couldn't do the hunting. Bruce does the hunting for you. He finds the best. And everyone knows this. They have decided to sell "Modern Dating Tips" By Jensen Bell! This proves his excellent taste and of joyously doubles the internet presence of our hero. It helps direct the disk to a more specialized and selective audience. Bruce only adds disks that meet his specific tastes. Either he likes it or he ignores it.
But in this case he appears to love it!
which ends: "Everything here has a refreshing, consistently inventive arranging and enough jangle make perma-smiles on many a Not Lamer. An understatement: Extremely Highly Recommended!!"
Huh? Yeah?
This new store may lead to news involving more airplay. Stay tuned!

~*THE END*~
It was a great show... every band was superb. Rodney is doing his best work this year... we all need to tune in and support this guy's incredible finds.
Sunday Night January 30 (well technically Monday though right?) at about 1:15 AM "Smoke & Perfume" a song from the CD 'Modern Dating Tips' by Jensen Bell was played by the Mayor Himself... Rodney Bingenheimer on his long running radio show... "Rodney On The 'ROQ" What a thrill to hear a great song from Fountains Of Wayne (see below) and then hear our work right there... that was quite a good moment for all involved.
Big Question... Will RODNEY PLAY THE DISK AGAIN?
The Jensen Bell appreciators have been emailing... but will it have any effect? You just never know.
Tune in FEB 6 at Midnight... 106.7FM KROQ ... L.A. & Pasadena
Fantastic! The suspense is killing us!
Dateline: Los Feliz, California
JensenBell.com now has a working BLOG! That means our registered friends and appreciators can interact, ask questions and even make requests. There are currently two blogs. The first is for that interaction and the second for advice and tips. Please link to them here:

Jensen Bell's soundtrack work for science fiction series is posted on the NET. Ifilm.com has made a deal with mad genius and auteur David Avallone to stream the first and still best ever INTERNET ADVENTURE SERIAL, "SINCE NOON YESTERDAY," about the unfortunate modern day misadventures of the hapless son of a famous super detective of the 50's. Are there really aliens? Did dad know something he shouldn't have? Why are these creepy people following him? This series is quite fun and entertaining ... and we love the soundtrack if we do say so ourselves.

Valentine's Day Radio
